Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VeriVox ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the VeriVox platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

Use License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and use the VeriVox platform for your personal or internal business purposes
• Upload audio files for deepfake detection analysis
• Download and view analysis results
• Access API endpoints if you have an Enterprise subscription

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Subscription Plans

Plan Types

• Free Plan: Limited to 5 uploads per day with 7-day history retention
• Premium Plan: Unlimited uploads with full feature access ($49/month)
• Enterprise Plan: Includes API access and bulk processing ($299/month)

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. If automatic billing fails, we will attempt to contact you and may suspend your account.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Premium and Enterprise subscriptions. Refunds are not available for renewals or Free plan upgrades. To request a refund, contact support@verivox.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload audio files that you do not have rights to analyze
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our detection algorithms
• Abuse, harass, or harm another person or entity
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Create accounts through automated means
• Share your API key or account credentials
• Exceed your plan's usage limits through artificial means
• Use the service to develop competing products

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of audio files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your files for analysis
• Generate detection reports and visualizations
• Display results to you within the platform

Our Intellectual Property

The VeriVox platform, including all content, features, functionality, algorithms, and technology, is owned by VeriVox and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or software.

API Usage Terms

Enterprise users with API access must comply with additional terms:

• API keys are confidential and must not be shared
• Rate limits apply as specified in your plan
• Do not abuse or overload the API
• Properly attribute VeriVox when displaying results
• Cache responses appropriately to minimize requests
• Implement proper error handling and retry logic

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

Accuracy Disclaimer

While our detection accuracy exceeds 99%, no system is perfect. Detection results should be used as one factor in your decision-making process, not as the sole determinant. We are not responsible for decisions made based on our analysis.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERIVOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeriVox from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) content you upload to the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco, California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
